First football game of the season tonight! Wow summer went by fast. I hope to see you all there. Kick off time is 7:00pm, don’t be late.

Of course we all knew she was going to make it anyway but Jes breezed through the first live round on America’s Got Talent. If you missed her performance shame on you but here you go!

Okay we played Caledonia tonight and had a tough time with them but that’s okay we did our best and that’s something to be proud of. I also have to explain a couple of things. First you will notice a lot of Caledonia pictures in these galleries. I typically only cover TK but I have nephews on both the JV and Varsity Caledonia teams so that is the reason for the amount of pictures and the visiting team coverage. Second I left the varsity game at half time to get home in time to see Jessica Price perform live on America’s Got Talent, she rocked it by the way Anyhow the pictures are in the usual location on your left under “Gallery Links” click on “08′-09′ TK Sports” enjoy.

The boys played a stellar game tonight but unfortunately were not victoriuos. Thay gave one up early in the game and that was the only score of the entire game. The game started a little slow in the first half but wow what a game in the second half. I’m not sure what coach said to them at half but it worked! They came out on fire. Holland noticed this as well and decided to play a much more physical game, in fact they were awarded to red cards in less than a minutes time. It was a fantastic game and I honestly believe if we had another 5 to 10 minutes we would have tied it up. We’ll get them next time guys, great game! Meagan and Travis stopped by today for a quick session. Great couple glad they came to see me and I hope to work with them again in the future.

I had a chance Friday night to go up to the Hastings Summerfest with my daughter to catch the show. John Price was performing in place of his daughter Jessica who is in L.A. preparing for her live showing on America’s Got Talent, airing this week be sure to watch! Anyhow John and his band did a bang up job filling her shoes. I know many of you were surprised by John being there in Jessica’s stead but you have to admit he rocked the crowd and all were pleased Unfortunately I was unable to stay till the end of the show but what I saw was great. From a photography stand point those were probably the worst lighting conditions I have ever shot in :-(  the back of the stage was light very well with no lighting to speak of at all on the front portion of the stage, so the performers were in the dark. I am going to do me best to clean these images up but I can only do so much. I’ll post the complete gallery later as I get time to process them. I hope to make it back up to Summerfest tonight, but my work schedule has kept me pretty busy latley. Hope to see you all there!

Our boys played NorthPointe Christian last night. The JV wound up winning 3 to 1 great game guys! The Varsity had a little tougher time but played a good game. It was really overcast last night not providing much light making 6:00 look more like 9:00 but what do you do? I had the pleasure of working with Anthony today, a Caledonia Senior. Anthony is a great young man and had his locations already picked. We did both studio and location, though I have not had time to go through many of them he did a great job at picking locations. Here is one that I really liked at first glance, hope you do as well.

TK Sports are now in full swing. I made it to the last half of the Freshman Soccer game last night, and wow! I got to see 2 of the 3 goals scored against Caledonia, yup that’s right we smoked Caledonia 3 to 0! Great job guys.
